Love and friendship... prayers for journey...your spirit will live on in our Memories...gone but not forgotten..Norb and Cynthia
I was surprised and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He and I first met when LNHS was in the large portable near the elementary portables. We then caught up to each other after the new building was up and enjoyed more years teaching together. I respected Dave and touched bases with him often during the course of any week. Although my passion for Drama and Creativity was at times over the top, Dave was quiet and steady. Yet we were able to talk peacefully and with deep understanding. I know how much he'll be missed at Lummi High. The students have been left with memories of a great friend. Walk on, Dave, we'll catch up later ...
I have always admired Dave. He was patient and kind towards all. A natural born teacher who was always willing to teach others a new skill--be it mural painting, firing an old musket, throwing an axe, cross country skiing, wood carving, tai chi or an intriguing lesson in science at Lummi High School. He was calm and collected, curious and committed, a devout husband and a dedicated son. I hold my hands up to him in respect and admiration. May his memory be for a blessing!
Dave thank you for all the years of carpooling.
Our long conversations still have deep profound meaning to me.
No one can replace you and we are all better people for having had you in our lives.
Your memory is a Blessing.
He was an amazing person a wonderful teacher and he is greatly missed by all whoms lives he touched. My condolences to his family.
Mr. B will be missed! He made science fun at LNS! My condolences goes out to his wife and family! ❤️
Rest in peace to one of my favorite teachers ive ever had. You taught us the world of science and you made us all fall in love with it and art. Youve taught 6 out of 7 of my siblings and we all enjoyed going to school to your class. Youve left some beautiful artwork in some places, and helped us create some in our school hallways. Youve impacted many of us kids in a big way. We are definitely going to miss you at Lummi Nation Mr Braun. You'll forever be in our hearts and you'll forever be a Blackhawk.
We want to extend our sympathy to Davids family. He was a wonderful science teacher to our two children in Coal City,Illinois and also lived near us in Goose Lake. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. God Bless
I'm sorry for your family's loss. I hope you find comfort in knowing that your loved one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him & bring him back again. John 5:28,29. You have my condolences.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Braun's passing. Two of my son's benefited from his science class. What a huge loss for our Lummi Nation School. Thank you Jacqueline for sharing him with our community for all those years.
Prayers for Peace
